1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and OLM Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business as Trust Advocate (“Trust Advocate,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your use of www.trustadvocate.org and any related pages, content, newsletters, and features we offer (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service. The Service is intended for users in the United States.
2. What Trust Advocate Is
Trust Advocate is a free online resource that publishes rankings, reviews, comparisons, and buying guides about consumer products and services, including financial services such as debt consolidation.
How our scores and rankings are made. Our scores and rankings are produced mainly by automated analysis, including artificial intelligence, of publicly available information such as customer reviews and ratings, Better Business Bureau ratings, company and product information, pricing, and availability. Our team may review and edit this content. Unless a specific review says otherwise, we do not physically test the products or services we rank. Some content on the Service is drafted with the help of AI tools.
Scores, rankings, and reviews are our opinions. They are not guarantees of quality, safety, or suitability for you, and they don’t cover every product or company available.
3. Advertising and Affiliate Relationships
The Service is supported by advertising and affiliate partnerships. We may be paid when you click a link, view a sponsored listing, or buy or sign up for a product or service through our links. This compensation, along with other factors, may influence which products appear on the Service and where and in what order they appear. For more information, see the advertising disclosure at the bottom of each page.
As an Amazon Associate, Trust Advocate earns from qualifying purchases.
4. Not Professional Advice; Financial Products; Product Safety
Content on the Service is for general information only. It is not financial, credit, debt, legal, tax, medical, safety, or other professional advice, and it is not a recommendation that any product or service is right for you.
Financial products and services. We are not a lender, debt consolidation company, credit counselor, financial adviser, or law firm, and we don’t make credit decisions. Debt consolidation and similar debt programs have costs and risks, which can include fees, effects on your credit, and, for some programs, tax consequences. Offers are subject to the provider’s own terms, eligibility rules, and approval. Read the provider’s terms carefully, and consider talking with a qualified professional, such as a nonprofit credit counselor or a financial or tax professional, before you enroll.
Product safety. Some of our guides cover products for babies and children, health and wellness, and home safety, such as baby monitors and smart locks. These products are not substitutes for proper supervision, medical care, or professional advice. Always read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions, warnings, and recall notices, and consult a qualified professional, such as your pediatrician or doctor, with questions about your situation.
5. Accuracy of Information
We try to keep information accurate and up to date, but products, prices, rates, fees, terms, and availability change often, and some information comes from third parties. We don’t guarantee that any information on the Service is accurate, complete, or current. Always confirm details with the provider before you buy, apply, or enroll. We may correct errors and update content at any time without notice.
6. Third-Party Websites, Products, and Services
The Service links to websites and offers run by others, including retailers, financial service providers, and affiliate partners. We don’t control and aren’t responsible for those websites or their content, privacy practices, products, services, pricing, warranties, or customer service. Any purchase, application, or agreement you make with a third party is between you and that third party.
7. Our Content and Your License to Use It
The Service and its content, including text, articles, reviews, scores, rankings, data compilations, graphics, logos, and the design of the site, are owned by OLM Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. “Trust Advocate” and our logos are our trademarks.
We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes. You may share links to our pages. Otherwise, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, republish, sell, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.
Third-party names, trademarks, logos, and product images belong to their owners. We use them to identify and discuss those companies and products, and their use doesn’t imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, those owners.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:

- use content from the Service to train, fine-tune, or develop artificial intelligence or machine-learning models, or to build a competing database or service;
- frame, mirror, or republish the Service or its content;

12. Disclaimers
The Service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and accuracy. We don’t warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any product described on it will meet your needs. We make no warranties about third-party products or services. You use the Service at your own risk.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OLM Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Service, its content, any third-party product or service, or your reliance on any information on the Service, even if we have been told such damages are possible. Our total liability for all claims related to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions don’t allow some of these limitations, so they may not all apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless OLM Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or of anyone else’s rights.
15. Governing Law, Venue, and Time to Bring Claims
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service must be brought only in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, and you and we consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. To the extent the law allows, any claim must be filed within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.
16. Changes to the Service and These Terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the “Last Updated” date. Changes take effect when posted, and if you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated Terms.
17. Termination
We may suspend or block your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or misused the Service. Sections 7, 10, and 12 through 18 continue to apply after your access ends.
18. General
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any notices posted on the Service, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don’t enforce a provision, that isn’t a waiver of our right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours, including as part of a merger or sale of assets. Headings are for convenience only.
