Our Commitment
Trust Advocate wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use our website. We are working to make www.trustadvocate.org accessible and easy to use, and we welcome your feedback.
Our Standard
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), as our target. Our site is partially conformant, which means some content does not yet fully meet the standard.
What We’re Doing
- Providing text alternatives for meaningful images, including product images and logos.
- Using clear page titles, headings, and form labels.
- Supporting keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators.
- Keeping enough color contrast and not relying on color alone to convey information.
- Making pages work on mobile devices and when zoomed or with larger text.
- Considering accessibility when we add new features and content.
- Planning a formal review of the site’s accessibility.
Known Limitations
- Some images on our ranking and review pages may not yet have descriptive alternative text.
- Some content and tools from third parties, such as embedded videos and the retailer websites we link to, are outside our control and may not be fully accessible.
Compatibility
Our site is designed to work with recent versions of major web browsers and screen readers.
