What you should know about the VISTA V2

The bottom line, right up front

The UPPAbaby VISTA V2 is still one of the best expandable strollers out there. No question. It's beautifully made, a dream to push, and it's built to handle a second child down the road. And here's the thing: that huge basket, the super-easy fold, and the fact that it comes with a bassinet? Those are major wins. But, it's not perfect. It's heavy. And it's pretty wide, so it definitely takes up a good chunk of trunk space. Another thing to think about is the second seat—the RumbleSeat. It has a lower weight limit and feels a bit more snug than the main one. So if you're in a walk-up apartment or have a small car, you might want to pause. But if you're after a super smooth, tough stroller that can adapt as your family grows, honestly, the VISTA is still a fantastic choice.

What you should know about the VISTA V2

How it compares to the others

So, when you put it up against the other big names like the Nuna Demi Grow or the City Select 2, the VISTA V2 just hits this sweet spot. It really nails the combination of a great push, tons of storage, and that premium feel. Sure, the Demi Grow feels a bit slimmer, but you lose that giant basket. The City Select 2 is easier on the wallet and has a lot of options, but it just doesn't feel as polished and can get a little rattly. The Mockingbird is a great budget option, no doubt, but the VISTA’s suspension and overall finish are just a step up. And the Bugaboo Donkey 5? Amazing for twins side-by-side, but it's wider and costs more. Believe it or not, there's no big 'V3' redesign for 2026. UPPAbaby is sticking with what works, focusing on new colors and minor tweaks instead of overhauling a classic.

So, who is this really for? I'd say you should absolutely go for it if you want a polished, long-lasting stroller that has room to grow with your family. If that huge basket and a buttery-smooth push are high on your list, and you're okay with the extra heft, it's a great match. But I'd probably skip it if you're hauling it up flights of stairs, have a tiny car trunk, or really need something nimble for travel. A couple of final thoughts from me: before you buy, do yourself a favor and measure your trunk with the seat on. If you can, try folding it in a store. And just map out in your head how you'd use it with two kids, since that lower RumbleSeat has its limits. That included bassinet is a real bonus, just double-check it's part of the package where you live. For car seats, it's easiest with UPPAbaby's own Mesa models—no adapters needed—but others work with them. Just make sure to confirm everything at checkout.
