Excellent
Look, the Furbo 360 Dog Camera is still one of the slickest treat-tossing cams you can get. The 360-degree pan is super smooth, the two-way audio is clear, and the 1080p video with color night vision means you aren't just guessing what you're seeing in the dark. Tossing treats is reliable—and honestly, it's fun. The app is also refreshingly simple once you get it all set up. But here's the thing: all the advanced alerts and cloud recording are behind a paid subscription. There’s no slot for a microSD card, either. And it's a plug-in device that needs a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal, so where you put it really matters. If you just want a great “set-it-and-forget-it” treat cam and you're okay with optional subscription features, the Furbo 360 is a really solid, confidence-building pick.
On the plus side, that 360° pan really does cover the whole room, and its auto dog-tracking is surprisingly good at keeping your pup in the shot. Video quality is crisp during the day and, believe it or not, actually useful at night. The little container for treats holds a decent amount, and it tosses them pretty reliably as long as you use uniform, dry treats. We also found the app was way more stable than some others we've tested. Now, for the considerations. Those 'smart' alerts for things like barking, crying, or a person walking by? That stuff, along with cloud recording, is locked behind their paid 'Furbo Dog Nanny' plan. It's also worth noting there's no physical lens cover for privacy—you just turn it off in the app. It’s also bigger than you might think, so you’ll need a sturdy spot for it where your dog can't just knock it over.
So what's the bottom line? If your main goal is to check in live, see the whole room without any jerky movements, and have some fun tossing treats, I'd say go for the Furbo 360. It’s a great fit if you've got a dog with separation anxiety—being able to watch, talk, and toss a treat is huge. It's also perfect for apartments where one camera needs to see everything. But if you're totally against subscriptions, or you really want to save video clips on a local memory card, this isn't the one for you. In that case, you're better off looking at other cameras, even if it means giving up the treat-tossing.
